A lot of people never find the person God created them to be. They’re too busy trying to live up to other people’s expectations, or they try to create themselves in the image of a person they admire or envy. I am honored to host Author Given Netshanzhe to share with us his writing journey.
Tell us more about who Given Netshanzhe is
Given Netshanzhe is a born-again and Holy Ghost-filled man of God who is a successful fellowship coordinator at Christ Embassy Ministry. He is a dynamic minister of God’s word whose teaching ministry brings clarity dissolving doubts and establishing faith in the hearts of many. He is a passionate and dedicated minister of the gospel of Christ whose message has brought to light the truth about identity and purpose. Many have been affected, impacted, inspired, and transformed by his divine ministration through various platforms including social media platforms. He has a deep passion for reaching millions of people around the world with God’s message of identity and purpose, he has a strong belief that until you know who you are, you will never be able to discover and fulfill your God-given purpose. He is also a motivational speaker whose motivational speeches have brought about transformation in various communities.

What does writing mean to you?
Writing is more than just expressing myself. It is an avenue I take advantage of to touch millions of lives without being there physically. Someone I never met wrote a book that transformed my life, in return, I am writing to transform someone else, I might never meet. Writing is a simplified way to impact people on a global level
Tell us more about your recently published book:
I KNOW WHO I AM is more than just a motivational book. It is a compendium with solutions and answers to identity crises and brings to light the truth about purpose. This book is not focused on you having 1, 2, or 3 things, its main focus is you becoming who you truly are. Someone bought a copy and said to me; “your book is prophesying to me and answering many unanswered questions I had”. It also won a prestigious award at the African Honoree Author’s Award 2022.
What do you think about the revolution in writing?
It creates a huge opportunity for the upcoming generation, many authors will not go to the grave with unpublished books. The more it revolves, the easier or more understandable it becomes. Many in this generation are pregnant with great books, just because writing is portrayed as expensive or difficult. Therefore many decided not to waste their time writing a book they can’t afford to publish.

For someone who inspires to be a writer what advice do you have for her?
Writing is not for a specific group, it is for everyone who has a message. Be as unique as you can, your story or message is different. An author is a reader, you can’t expect people to read your books while you’re not a reader. You reap what you sow, not what you wish. Never write because you want to make money, write to change lives and money will follow.
What is the project you currently working on?
I am in the process of publishing my second book; THE BEAUTIFUL GATE which will be released in May if things go according to the plan. And I am done writing my third book; IT IS POSSIBLE which will be released in December if things go according to the plan. Currently, I am writing my fourth one; MARRIAGE GOD’S IDEA.
What does success mean to you?
Success is impacting the world with the investment of your personality. It doesn’t matter how much money or materials or properties you have, if all that you have doesn’t affect others you’re not successful.
